Volunteers Needed For Gainbridge/LPGA Boca Raton Jan. 20-26

How would you like to hang out with Morgan Pressel, Lexi Thompson or any of the other 106 golfers who will be competing in the first annual $2,000,000 Gainbridge/LPGA championship at Boca Rio Golf Club January 20-26?

Maybe even walk a couple of holes or mingle with them in the hospitality tent!

Well that opportunity exists as volunteers are needed to help run this professional golf tournament to kick off the LPGA season with 108 of the top women golfers in the world.

If you’ve ever attended a pro golf tournament or watched on television, you know it takes an army to manage the tournament. Tournament officials are seeking more than 500 volunteers plus chairpersons to manage the 16 different committees including Hole Marshals, Player Transportation, and Walking Scorers.

Interested volunteers can choose their committee and shift preferences through the online registration process, and are encouraged to register early as committees and shift times are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All volunteers must be at least 18 years old, except for Standard Bearers who must be at least 13 years of age to participate.

Volunteers will receive a package of tournament gear and benefits for only $65. The volunteer package, valued at more than $250, includes two tournament golf shirts, a choice of headwear, two complimentary weekly grounds tickets for family or friends, meals on scheduled days of volunteering and an invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party. Additionally, each volunteer badge is valid for grounds access and parking during tournament week. Student pricing is being developed.
